In June of 2015 Jaki and husband Chris attended an international conference entitled "Seizing an Alternative: Toward an Ecological Civilization." As part of their joint presentation Jaki was asked to tell the story of how, through her spiritual experiences, she had come to change her worldview toward one that could be described as ‘indigenous’ in nature.
